Blue Lake, formed in the early 1960’s, is a community located in the granite hills on the southern shores of Lake Lyndon B. Johnson. The City of Marble Falls is 15 miles to the northeast and Austin is 50 miles to the east of Blue Lake. Blue Lake is the final destination of Ranch Road 2831 and lies three miles north of Highway 71.

Blue Lake Golf Course - The course, although it does not have any sand or water hazards, is a challenging layout due to the rolling terrain, granite outcroppings, rough, and elevated greens. The course was designed by Joe Finger of Houston.
The 9 Hole course has been consistently included in the Top 10 Nine Hole Courses in the State of Texas.
Presently, there are 168 members of the Club. The Club maintains a lending library of books furnished by members, hosts numerous social activities including a monthly Cocktails and Conversation (C & C) with dinner provided by participants. The clubhouse also serves as a social center for other activities including aerobics classes, bible study classes, card games and the like.
